- Other services: You may have a 4 page brochure, you require folding, for more pages you may require stitching (stapling together), or drilling (same as 3-hole punching on a larger scale). If you have a tear-out coupon, you require perforation.

- Finally, how many copies: If you are printing anything under at least 500 copies, a printing press would not be the right option. Most printers will not accept jobs under 500. If you have a printing job that requires lower amounts, consider laying it out in a matter that would allow you to use it for a longer period of time to take advantage of better printing rates. For example, a 500 piece ‘run’ may cost you $600, if you run 1000 pieces, the cost would insignificantly increase to $650. The higher the quantity the lower the cost per 1000. This is a result of paper being the least expansive factor in the printing business. The most expansive is the plate making, press set-up and press-time.

Can you use photographs from my web site?
No. The printing process requires a much higher resolution than a computer screen (i.e. print resolution = 300 dpi (dots per inch)/web resolution 72 dpi). For quality printing results, we need original photographs or brochures for scanning.
